Healthy Life Activities makes every effort to support local charities,  community groups and organisations by making donations so that they can invest in their own activities and projects. We will support organisation that promote a healthy lifestyle activity for juniors and local charities close to our hearts.

Healthy Life Activities also invites local non profit community groups to become involved in it’s events. Please look at how you can get involved.

Healthy Life Actiities organise the Sports Relief Mile and Money raised by athletes at the Sports Relief Mile this year was £1910.  We are also instrumental in organising the Carmarthen Mayors Race and once again this year we were able to donat £2000 to four worthy charities in Carmarthen Town.

In 2013 Healthy Life Activities have made nearly £13,000  worth of Donations to the following :

We purchased over £4000 worth of schools sports equipment which was donated to 10 Llanelli Primary Schools, this was possible thanks to the support and sponsorship from Alun Griffiths Construction Ltd. The schools were :

A £1000 sponsorship package for local Llanelli triathlete Liam Lloyd who will be aiming to represent Wales at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

A donation of £2000 will also be made to the John Harston Cancer Foundation – these were our offical Charity in 2013.

Ammanford Junior Fun Run - Healthy Life Activities once again sponsored a Junior Fun Run in Ammanford organised by the Amman Valley Harriers and was attended by over a 100 children. We provided medals for all the kids, race numbers and trophies for the winners together with some race equipment. Amman Valley Harriers provided us with excellent support at the Amman Valley Triathlon held in April.

Carmarthen Town Council also donated £2000 from the proceeds of the Carmarthen Mayor’s Fun Run to 4 local Carmarthen groups with each receiving £500.  Healthy Life Activities organise this event in conjunction with  Carmarthen Town Council.

Healthy Life Activities has also supported Ysgol Gyfun Y Strade by providing some equipment and assistance to them with the Triathlon Le’Strade which they organised for their feeder primary schools. This saw over 50 children have a go at a triathlon for the very first time. We also provided some equipment to Ysgol Maes Yr Yrfa for them to hold a Fun Run for all school pupils as they looked to raise money for Charity.

Carmarthen Town Council also donated £2000 from the proceeds of the Carmarthen Mayor’s Fun Run to local Carmarthen groups. Healthy Life Activities works closely with Carmarthen Town Council on the organisation of this event.
