Llandovery is an ancient market town situated on the west bank of the upper reaches of the river Towy in Carmarthenshire. The name itself is an anglicised form of the welsh, Llanymddyfri, which means ‘Church amongst the Waters’.  The Triathlon will be a pool based event with a revised 22km ride taking you up the valley towards the village of. You will turn in Rhandirmwyn and re-trace your path back towards Llandovery Leisure Ctr. A truly scenic bike ride which is undulating and with the 5km run to finish it will prove to be a huge favourite.

Re-established in 2013 this event attracted over a 100 triathletes and was full well before the race date.  We have increased the entry limit to 150 for 2015 and we expect the event to fill once again.  We are proud to work in partnership with Carmarthenshire County Council sports development officer and for the sponsorship from Legends Gym in Llandovery. We aim to provide you with an  enjoyable event that will provide you with a fantastic challenge deep in the rural landscape of Carmarthenshire.
