      This event has grown over the since it started in 2012 to be a firm favourite with all triathletes. Ideal for 1st time athletes and those looking to Start their season with a short sprint triathlon. The event will have electronic chip timing for athletes, full professional race packs including security wrist band, arm tattoo’s giving it that BIG race feeling.

       The event has a fantastic family atmosphere and always attracts a large number of first time Triathletes

      Carmarthen Mayor’s Fun 5km Run & Junior Races

      We are delighted to be celebrating our 43nd Race this year and look forward to welcoming over a 1000 runners to Carmarthen. The event has races for children of all ages and a 5km Fun run for everyone over 14yrs.

      The Mayor of Carmarthen will be on hand to start all the races and present medals and trophies to all runners taking part.

This event has been a firm favourite with triathletes for a number of years and has been awarded Welsh Triathlon Event of the year twice.  This event in 2025  attracted over 500 athletes who enjoyed a superb event in near perfect weather conditions.
